... "We visited today in the June sunshine and thought it was the best garden we'd visited. We are visiting all the great gardens in Cornwall at the moment as we are restoring an ancient park and need inspiration! This was so beautifully planned, and the plants so unusual and so healthy, that we were very impressed. The lakes were very interesting, and the cakes were wonderful! Most enjoyable afternoon, thanks!"

... "Lovely surprise, so different from many other gardens. Will visit again."

... "Most beautiful and unexpected discovery. A privilege to meet Mrs Nathan and see the work happening in front of our eyes. We will come again."

... "A wonderful garden. Thank you for sharing it with us."

... "How wonderful to see a garden reclaimed with such an 'eye'."

... "What is really lovely is the chain of lakes through a semi-wild area of grassland and shrubs where you can wander, sit down, and watch the wild-life. Tranquillity is its essence. There is enough space for you to lose yourself. The owners and staff are very agreeable and informal - you can brew your own cuppa."

... "Had a good visit to Bonython. Good planting of grasses around the pond and the walled garden looking very nice. This will be a good garden in years to come."

... "A little gem of a garden. Most in this area of Cornwall are very large and grand but this one is easily toured in an hour or two, although I would recommend staying longer and just sitting by the thatched tea house drinking tea and eating delicious homemade cakes. The gardens have been planted with a lot of thought and to cover all seasons."

... "What vision! We shall be back in September."

... "What a wonderful garden - and the amount of time and effort put in in just a few years beggars belief. Congratulations and thanks."

... "Very enjoyable visit. Carrot cake superb. Will return."

... "We came across this garden by accident, and took a chance on it. Have to say it was the highlight of oue holiday."
